The Review Rundown:
If you know me by now, you know I buy a lot of stuff for my husband. I’m basically an expert on men’s must haves. Since my husband typically only wears old t-shirts and ratty shorts to the gym I figured it was officially time for an upgrade when it came to his birthday. After some quick online research, I discovered GymShark, read the reviews, and was sold pretty quick. They’ve been independently reviewed and highly rated (for both women and men’s gym apparel) I figured if he didn’t want to wear it I’d wear them around the house myself!
Beyond gym stuff for guys (finally!) GymShark actually has some really cool stuff for us women too. My favorite part at first was the price. Most of their stuff was really affordable, especially when you compared it to all the other “workout” clothes I buy from other retailers and never really make it to the gym. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like any of their stuff is super cheap, but I’d give an educated guess that it’s about 20% – 25% less than the leading competitor (and you know which one I’m talking about).
Of course you know I’m overly obsessed with leggings and they have some extremely comfy options. GymShark is known for their color selection – so much more than strictly black or gray – and there are a bunch of different patterns to choose from too. And that goes for other workout clothes like sports bras, stylish tank tops, crop tops and basically everything in between. It’s always a great time to upgrade your workout gear, but if I’m being honest, I love wearing it around the house too. Toss a shirt on and you’re ready for your endless Zoom “WFH” video calls.

Look, I realize that going to the gym shouldn’t be like going to a fashion show, but sometimes we all need a little help to know what’s “cool” to wear and, more importantly, what’s comfy and flattering to wear. Legit Pros:
- Their color selection is better than any competitor I’ve seen.
- I love their leggings better than that other brand you know of.
- Everything is pretty comfy to wear even when you’re not at the gym.
Legit Cons:
- I really had to dig (and dig) to find anything that was on sale.
- The no-show socks didn’t really last long for me before they were too stretched out.
The Real Deal With Coupons + Promo Codes:
Saving some money online is always something I pride myself in. I’ve searched and searched for a promo code or two to help take some additional cash off my GymShark clothes, but I totally struck out this time around. Anywhere I looked for a coupon always came up as invalid, which is annoying. But at least you know that spending your time doing the same searches I’ve already done is pretty pointless.
After doing some additional research I was able to find a promo code they have for students where they can take 20% off. That’s actually really decent. I mean, students never really have money so will really help. Students will verify via GymShark’s partnership with StudentBeans and then they’ll get a unique 20% student discount code they can use when the place and online order. Check that out here!
