The Review Rundown:
I consider myself an expert shopper, but an amateur chef in the kitchen. I have some solid go-to recipes, but my success rate is usually around 60% of the recipe actually coming out right. I’m not a quitter so I just keep trying. However, I feel like an expert chef whenever I bust out my Le Creuset cast iron skillets. Yes, plural. I own two. One’s Carribbean blue and the other is emerald green and now I make everything I can in them – from rosemary butter ribeye steaks to cast iron cornbread and everything in between. I’d make my morning eggs in there if I could. Wait, can I?
I had originally shied away from Le Creuset because I always heard from friends that they were extremely expensive and not really for the everyday cook. Well, I disagree. Sure, they’re more expensive than something you’d typically find a Bed Bath and Beyond or Target (love both of them, by the way), but it’s totally doable. And, like I said, I use mine on a regular basis – at the least twice a week.
What I love best about my cast iron skillet is that it’s perfect for someone like me who doesn’t have the time or patience for having to take care of a regular cast iron skillet. With those you have to pre-season them, post season them, rub them with oil before and after use, and more. I’m not even sure I got those steps right! With my Le Creuset skillet it has a black satin enamel on the inside so I don’t have to worry about seasoning it in the traditional way and it’s actually really easy to clean, which is a real bonus for me because there’s nothing I hate more than soaking dishes in the sink and then washing them hours later.
As you can tell, I’m pretty obsessed. If you’re ready to take the Le Creuset plunge, go for it! You can always start with their signature skillet and then work your way up from there with things like a dutch oven, giant soup pot, and even some dinnerware. Become the chef you’ve always wanted to be!

The Real Deal With Coupons + Promo Codes:
My friends know I’m their go-to when it comes to finding the best prices and deals on just about anything. I always seem to be able to find that secret promo code to use when I’m just about to checkout online. Some call it an obsession, I just call it good sense. So here’s the deal with Le Creuset when it comes to using coupon codes. They actually offer them themselves, so you don’t have to waste a ton of time looking for them all over the place (like I did). Check them out here.
Getting free shipping is usually one of their best offers and at last look they were offering a free gift with certain purchases, which is kind of amazing and the best way to re-gift in my opinion. I’ve found some of their popular items offered on Amazon (see those at the end of this article) and even over on Nordstrom (last glance I saw them for 20% off). Personally, I prefer to shop them all on their website because I’m less concerned if I have to return it for some reason. They have a great 45 day return policy.
So for now, check out some of our fave promos from Le Creuset in April 2021.
