I love MasterClass mainly because I’m a total dork and love to learn, but I’m also pretty much celeb-obsessed so I love to learn lessons directly from them. They also always seem to add new experts and classes to their roster and at last look they have more than 90 famous instructors and more than 1,000 classes. Each class in a course is around 10-15 minutes and I was able to really do it at my own leisure.

However, the truth is that I consumed these classes so quickly. I’ve been covering MasterClass for the past 3 years and have learned quite a bit about them and to say that I’m obsessed is an understatement. Over the past 3 years I’ve never really seen an actual coupon of any kind. But when it comes to sales there is one that’s become pretty famous.

Of course, I’m talking about the “2 Memberships For the Price of 1″ Sale. I used to call it the “Buy One, Get One” Sale. Basically how it works is that over the past few years, every December, MasterClass gives 50% Off Annual Memberships….depending on how you look at it.

MasterClass offers a deal where you can get 50% off when purchasing two annual memberships. This promotion allows you to share the gift of learning with a friend or family member. Like I said, it’s really a 2-For-1 sale.

They’ve actually increased the amount of sales they’ve run from just the holiday season as well. And while they mostly stick with that 2-for-1 promotion they have thrown a wrench at us a few times. For example:

Pre-Black Friday Offers: In the lead-up to Black Friday, MasterClass had introduced early discounts. In ’24, they offered up to 50% off annual memberships before the official Black Friday sale kicked off.

Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sales: This past year provided a significant discounts during Black Friday and Cyber Monday offering annual memberships at 50% off.

End-of-Year Sales: Towards the end of the year, MasterClass has offered discounts on all membership plans. For example, in December 2023, they provided 40% off all plans.

Labor Day Sales: Around Labor Day, they provided discounts on annual subscriptions. In August ’24, they offered a 50% discount on year-long memberships.
