The Review Rundown:
I used to be obsessed with my Hydroflask. Ok, I still am, but my latest obsession is my YETI. In fact, all things YETI. From pretty kick-ass ramblers and tumblers to hard coolers I would consider adding to my wedding registry, I can’t get enough. If you think you knew them before, it may be time to give them another look. Get ready to get hooked.
The only thing I want to come clean on is that I typically never have hot beverages. Maybe I’ll have hot chocolate once per year, but other than that I’m a cold bev gal. More accurately, I’m an iced-everything kind of gal. While so many of their tumblers and coffee mugs will help keep your coffee and tea nice and hot for extended hours, they’re really more of our go-to for things like iced coffee, beers, wine (and plenty of it), and other fun adult beverages like White Claw. Yes, even that.
If I’m drinking a beer (canned) I’ll always toss it into my Colster can insulator (I have it in coral). If I’m having a glass or ten of wine I use my Rambler Wine Tumbler (I have it in reef blue). And if I’m heading out to the beach or even a backyard house party, I never show up empty handed so I’ll toss in some beers and wine (in the can, like a sparkling rosé) into my Hopper Flip Soft Cooler. That one is easy to carry around and keeps everything cold for, like, a long time. The point is, I’m obsessed and probably need an intervention. Send help. Bring a canned rosé.
I love buying stuff for myself. Is that bad to say? But the good news is that there’s some YETI gear for just about anyone on your gifting list too. You can find the must have hard cooler for the special guy in your life. Find the most amazing dog bowl for your special pet. Or you can even find something cool for your parents who are always on the go. I always say, pass on the obsession to the ones you love the most. Turn them into enablers!
These are a Few of Our Favorite Things:
If the selection of YETI merch seems kind of overwhelming to you and you’re not sure where to really begin, here’s a quick list of some of my additional faves to help point you in right direction:
- The Rambler Tumbler With Lid (Beach or Work Commute) – Check It Out Here
- The Roadie Hard Cooler in Ice Pink ($199) – Check It Out Here
- The Best Camping Blanket Ever – Check It Out Here
- My iced coffee stays perfectly cold for hours.
- Their color selection is better than any competitor I’ve found.
- Their coolers (hard and soft) are the best for any outdoor activity (including camping).
- Coolers are super expensive.
- They, like, never go on sale. It’s annoying.
The Real Deal With Coupons + Promo Codes:
Let’s be honest. The most popular YETI gear is usually the most expensive and they never really go on sale. I’ve found some at Dick’s or REI on sale at times (usually around 20% off), but that’s few and far between. What I’ve never found is a coupon code or a promo code that’s legit. Meaning, they don’t work. That’s because YETI doesn’t have them. I’m not sure if that’s because they want their merch to feel more exclusive and elite (it’s working), but all I know is that it makes me want it even more. It’s like having a Mercedes. Not that I have one of those.
I have found a really nice 10% discount for military professionals and first responders. Their list of who’s eligible is actually pretty lengthy, so check that out here to see if you qualify.
You can typically get free ground shipping, which is really helpful. But in terms of promo codes, no dice. If that ever changes we’ll let you know so, for now, check out their latest offerings over on their official website.
So for now, check out some of our fave promos from YETI in January 2021.
