The Review Rundown:
I have a confession to make. I’m obsessed with all things “Modern Farmhouse.” I don’t care that every home on Fixer Upper has the modern farmhouse theme. I’m turning my entire home into it and I’m ok with that. I started looking at the standard suspects; Home Depot and Lowes, but I’ve had the absolute best luck shopping everything online at Wayfair.
A lot of people told me that buying things for my house without seeing it in person was a mistake. Well I’m here to tell you they’re wrong. Basically everything I purchased was from Wayfair (both indoor and outdoor) and I couldn’t be happier. Here’s why. Anything I purchased that I didn’t love, I was able to just easily ship it back within 30 days, so I was always good to go (they offer either a refund or a store credit depending on your return). The good news is that almost everything I purchased, I loved.
Now I don’t know if their sale prices are real. I only say that because basically everything I bought averaged 40% off. My bathroom vanity was actually 70% off. Is that even possible? Who knows. But what I do know is that I felt like I really got an amazing deal on just about each and every item.
Out of all the items I bought that I really did love I think my best experience from Wayfair was their overall customer service. I had purchased a pergola for my backyard and it took much longer than expected to be delivered. Now, it could have been due to Covid, understandably, or just some glitch. Honestly, it was pretty annoying. However, not only was their customer service rep keeping me updated each step of the way (and very apologetic) they actually credited my $600 for my troubles. $600! I was like, um, did you mean $60? They didn’t! For $600 off I would have waited for that pergola for 12 months! That is officially the best customer service I have ever experienced in all my years of shopping online, ever. Thanks Wayfair!
These are a Few of Our Favorite Things:
The Wayfair website can be a little overwhelming because they really have everything and it can be tough to figure out exactly where to begin. You probably know about their furniture and bathroom fixtures, but they have way more than that. So I put together some of my favorite things to help you get started:
- Kitchen + Dining Room Furniture – Check It Out Here
- Flooring For Any Room in Your Home – Check It Out Here
- Amazing Lighting For Every Room – Check It Out Here
- Customers “Most Liked” Items Today – Check It Out Here
- Their customer service is A+.
- It seems like almost everything is on sale!
- The best selection (and most unique) I’ve ever seen.
- Free shipping on orders over $35 (many of which are free 2 day shipping).
- There’s not a store to go to so you can see items in person.
- Sometimes shipping was a bit longer than anticipated.
- They don’t really believe in promo codes (bummer).
The Real Deal With Coupons + Promo Codes:
I pride myself on always being able to find the best deal online. It’s “a thing” I do. I definitely came up empty, however, when I was researching to find any kind of promo code or even coupon for Wayfair. Even the standard go-to websites didn’t have them. I was able to find Wayfair’s Official Coupon Policy on their website and this confirmed my fear that they really don’t have them. Whyyyyyyy.
After researching a bit more I was able to find that if you sign up for their (free) Professional Membership. That’s where you can find coupons with spending incentives like get $25 off when you spend $200, $50 off when you spend $500, and $100 off when you spend $1,000. You’ll also get free fast shipping too, so it’s probably worth it to sign up especially if you plan on making some big purchases. Check it out here.
So for now, check out some of our fave promos from Wayfair in July 2021.
