The Review Rundown:
So I have a new addiction I can add to my list. It’s shopping online at Cole Haan. There, I said it. As you know I consider myself a true professional shopper and gift giver. When it comes to shoes I’m more than picky. It almost borders on snobby. It really has nothing to do with the price – overall – just more of the style, fit, comfort-level, and price (I’m still human after all).
What I love about Cole Haan is that they check all the boxes (for me). I always have luck when it comes their shoes fitting me perfectly, even their running shoes. For me, picking up my first pair of running shoes was a little scary. I like to run a couple of times a week (outdoors when possible) and always swear by my Brooks. So trying something totally new made me nervous, but I was in love with the look online so decided to take the plunge. I chose these running shoes because it came in white and rose gold (rose gold!) They recommended going a half size down and they were right! They fit perfectly (phew!), are really lightweight, and have felt really good on my runs. Now, I’ve only had them for about 2-months, but so far so good!
If you follow me here at Jenraly, you totally know I’m also equally obsessed with handbags of just about any kind. My personal pref is a tote because I basically live out of it wherever I go. I was surprised to see that Cole Haan had a ton to choose from online (more than what I used to see in their store) and most were on sale, which seemed odd but I’ll take it! If you’re in the market for a new bag (and who isn’t) definitely give them a try if you want something that’s unique and not like bags you’ll see on everyone else all the time. Legit Pros:
- Their guidelines for shoe-fit is always spot on (for me).
- I’m loving their handbags and so many are always at a discounted price.
- They have free shipping when you become a member (it’s free).
- Their student/teacher discount is pretty generous (20%).
Legit Cons:
- Other competitors offer a discount code when you sign up for emails, so kind of bummed CH didn’t.
The Real Deal With Coupons + Promo Codes:
Since I’m a pro shopper (thank you very much) I’m always looking for a deal and, more specifically, a working promo code or coupon I can use when I’m about to buy a ton of stuff. I’ve researched this one for a while (longer than I care to admit), but I came up empty when looking online for one from Cole Haan. But since I try not to be all doom and gloom, I was able to find a few different offers from them that many of us can use to save a little. For example, they’re offering a $25 referral bonus when you refer a friend and students, teachers, and those in the military can take 20% off.
My best options was to sign up to become an official member. It took less than 5 minutes and was free. The biggest perk for me was that I can now get free shipping all the time, which is amazing. I hate having to pay for shipping! They also now send me when sales are happening before everyone else knows about it, which I appreciate. It makes me feel special. I need help!
